Pastor Davie L. Moore has been a leader in ministry for 30 plus years. His music ministry started at an early age, but his divine call to preach the Gospel was realized in October 2008 at St. Mark M.B. Church Cathedral under the leadership of the late Bishop Willie L. Jordan, aka the “The Country Preacher.” With dogged determination, Pastor Moore is single-mindedly focused on fulfilling his purpose to the glory of God.

During that time, he also served as Minister of Music at Nehemiah Christian Center Ministries (NCCM) under Bishop Ronnie L. Lee until receiving the mandate that it was time to shift into his purpose.

Answering the call, Pastor Moore made the seamless transition from music to pastoring Greater New Mt. Eagle M.B. Church in February 2016. In the same year, he completed his degree in Human Services from Purdue University where he graduated Cum Laude. In December 2022 he received his BA in Religion and is currently pursuing his Master of Theological Studies degree.

Growth, both spiritually and numerically has come to fruition through his efforts. In the first year of his pastoral assignment 95 members were added to the church including 68 Christian experienced and 27 candidates for baptism.
